It’s January 2023 and while this author hasn’t set a New Year’s resolution in many, many years I was recently reflecting on a cooking course I took (pre-pandemic) at Fustini’s in downtown Petoskey. I found so much joy in learning new recipes, which I still use to this day. That memory had me wondering what other opportunities are there in our area to learn new things. I’ve compiled a list for you below. Think of something I forgot? Let me know!

The Petoskey District Library offers arts, crafts, and DIY classes, consumer and financial research resources, genealogy lookup resources, language learning, and museum, state park and other cultural destination discounted passes.

The CTAC offers numerous cooking courses with local chefs and restaurants, “Swirl” events which include “a delicious blend of art, libations, and fun!”, lecture series, art exhibitions, photographer society meetings, ballet classes, and more.

Fustini’s offers numerous virtual cooking classes from Italian to Greek to Super Bowl snacks!
